Monthly channel audit reports
Add the channel link and CSV, hit Generate for a first full draft, then refine anything in chat below. Everything stays fully editable in its own tab too.
The basics that anchor the cover page.
The top-line narrative — what happened this period, in plain language.
Channel Health Score: —
Drafts a 2-3 sentence AI overview plus a Long-form vs. Shorts strategic call for the Executive Summary page — review before sending.
Current vs. previous month, side by side. Pull "Previous month" from YouTube Studio's compare-period view.
A client's first report has no stored prior month, so Channel Health and every % change stay blank. Export the earlier month from YouTube Studio — same export, earlier date range — and load it here. It fills the Previous column only; those videos are never added to this report.
Import the YouTube Analytics CSV, or add rows manually. Ranked by views automatically.
Fills in any missing titles and runtimes from the public YouTube API, and reads the channel's subscriber count for context. Numbers in the report still come only from your CSV.
One line per bullet. Use "Label: detail" and the label bolds automatically.
Looks for a real topic/theme pattern in the video titles + performance (needs 5+ imported videos). Shown on the Content Strategy Map page, clearly labeled as AI-drafted for your team to verify.
Track what actually got done. Last month's tasks show here so you can check them off; this month's new tasks are just the Recommendations from the "Notables & recs" tab — no need to re-type them.
Checking a box here saves immediately to last month's report — it doesn't affect this month's draft.
These close the report and carry into next month, where they come back here to be checked off. Same list as the Recommendations tab — edit in either place.
Gemini looks at the actual thumbnails for this month's videos alongside their CTR. Everything it writes is editable — rewrite it, delete what you disagree with, add your own.
Repeatable audit sections (thumbnails, SEO, content strategy, etc.). Each becomes its own set of report pages.
Applied to every report this builder generates.
Defaults sampled from editvideo.io's brand palette (indigo, off-white, purple, orange). Fully overridable here per-report — accents style rank badges, bullet markers, section icons, and dividers throughout the report.
This report saves to the client portal database — use the "💾 Save" button up top (or just wait, it also saves automatically a few seconds after you stop typing). The options below are just a manual backup, e.g. to send a copy to a teammate outside the portal.
Shown on the client roster, which flags a report as overdue once the due date passes and it still isn't sent.
